The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Dingell VAMC has an active hematology/oncology section currently staffed with three hematologist/oncologist and is a tertiary care (1c) facility located in Detroit Michigan. Our Facility is a major academic affiliate of Wayne State University School of Medicine. In addition, we participate in a joint hematology/oncology fellowship program with the Karmanos Cancer Institute. Provide care for patients with malignant and benign hematological disorders and patients with oncological disorders in both the outpatient and inpatient setting. Experience in performing bone marrow aspirates and biopsies is required The physician will be expected to teach fellows, residents, medical students and provide education for other attending staff. Active participation in selected multi-disciplinary committees related to cancer care is required Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm, evening, weekends call is shared equally among the section members.
