This unique candidate we seek will provide leadership and direction for our Palliative Medicine team in the areas of quality, strategic clinical planning, and growth integration for Banner Palliative Medicine providers, and education of Palliative Medicine Fellows and other trainee physicians. Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, our ideal Director will be a dedicated palliative care professional with the passion to help patients and their families deal with serious life-threatening illness and symptom management.
Scope, Details, and Qualifications include:
BC/BE and fellowship-trained in Palliative Care required
Leadership experience preferred
Provides high-quality medical care in the clinical setting, demonstrating sound knowledge of medical specialty
Provides didactic and clinical teaching for Hospital staff, residents, fellows, and medical students
Participates in research that contributes to the control or cure of diseases and/or advances designated educational programs
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday and some call coverage on weekends
Participates in the Banner Palliative Care, Geriatrics, and integrative medicine Clinical Consensus Groups
