The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
The incumbent is the Psychiatrist for the Mental Health Program and is responsible for the provision of Mental Health treatment and services for veterans enrolled in all the various components of the program. Performs clinical work describing human behavior, determining the reasons for that behavior and predicting and/or modifying the behavior. Performs psychiatric evaluations, and treatment of patients with problems of personality, emotional adjustment, or mental illness. Prescribes medications as deemed necessary for the treatment of mental illnesses. Promotes, supervises, and/or performs psychotherapy with patients, either through individual sessions or through group therapy sessions. Uses therapeutic techniques.
