Responsible for processes, projects, analysis and solution design to optimally support the Patient Access strategy across the care continuum. Provides assistance to develop, implement and measure targeted initiatives aimed to improve Clinic, ED or hospital access, patient and staff satisfaction. Analyzes processes, identifies problems and develops process or technology solutions to ensure organizational access targets are achieved. Participates in project team to create, define and evaluate requirements, testing specifications, communications and training. Documents and communicates project status to stakeholders.
Collaborates with leadership to develop division strategies related to access improvement projects.
Identifies opportunities for process improvements, proposes effective and efficient solutions, directs implementation of improved processes, and provides process sustainability plans.
Identifies and implements action steps to ensure organizational access targets are achieved and to support improvement projects.
Collaborates with process stakeholders and leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Assists in the collection and reporting of established metrics relevant to access work.
Develops specification and executes testing plans to ensure data integrity of reporting and dashboards.
Routinely updates dashboards or other tools for program owners to measure progress toward targeted goals.
Analyzes data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Contributes expertise toward the access program results and other assigned duties.
Completes assigned tasks in monitoring trends for assigned work.
Creates business requirement specifications to support design of effective solutions.
Identifies and escalates barriers and potential solutions to leadership.
Prepares and delivers verbal and written updates for internal and external meetings.
Delivers concise status updates.
Utilizes and refines tools and templates to develop work products.
Creates requirements, workflow diagrams, test plans and reporting to support objectives.
Documents decision making and action items from meetings, ensuring relevant information is captured to support work completion.
Coordinates with IT to plan, evaluate, test, implement, maintain and leverage access-related technology.
