SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Team Leader is responsible for the steady state information technology management of one or more operational areas, either within Information Technology and Resources (IRT) or the Medical Center. In this role, the Team Leader is accountable for all personnel actions (e.g., hire, progressive discipline, assign to projects, performance appraisals) required for the ongoing support of the operational area(s). The Team Leader also provides project oversight (guidance, mentoring and intervention where required) for projects that his/her team members are leading. This positon coordinates with other Team Leaders for projects that cross multiple IRT teams, and with managers in the client departments that this team supports. On occaision, this positon will lead an enterprise technology project. The Team Leader is also involved in planning and budgeting activities.
Either: (a) Bachelors degree plus six additional years of related experience or (b) ten years total of related experience
