The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Provides application software development services typically in a defined project. Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software applications. Analyzes requirements, tests and integrates application components. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented. May test new software code and typically works in a highly efficient (Agile) development environment.
???Development Produce software that delivers requested functionality by following the unified software development process. Deliver quality software by possessing a working knowledge of modern modular programming techniques for implementation of customer needs. Perform software testing, corrects program errors, using methods such as modifying program or altering sequence of program steps.
???Systems Programming Analyze, design, implement, and maintain moderately complex systems programming. Work with other team to develop Technical Designs and participate in Technical and Code Reviews. Work with team to design, write, and prepare complete user and technical documentation. Utilize development lifecycle process and documentation to implement and support system solutions.
???Requirements Gathering Prepare detailed use cases and activity diagrams to illustrate the customer needs. Collaborate with customers to obtain and analyze project specifications. Propose a viable overall design approach by analyzing the possible courses of action and associated impacts.
???Support Ensure outstanding end-user support is provided, including ongoing monitoring of Service Level Agreements for incident management and collaboration with other areas to ensure customer-centered incident management and support.
???Education Develop knowledge and professional skills through cross-training, literature and attendance at department meetings and vendor education. Develop training objectives. Prepare oral and written presentations. Develop expertise in several Cincinnati Children's computer-based systems.
