The Surgical Technologist has responsibility for the assembly, set-up, and use of surgical instrumentation and equipment during surgical procedures. This position is a team member requiring a cooperative manner, working under the direction of a RN. Work situations are primarily routine, but may change rapidly to an emergent or critical situation, and may require both directed and independent decision-making depending on the nature of the situation. This position requires a service-oriented individual with strong organizational skillsMinimum Requirements Previous experience preferred. Cardiac experience required.Education/Licenses/Certifications: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent on the job training CPR certification required National certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred Active WA Surgical Technologist Registration required prior to start date
