Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. The role you’ll contribute:
The Admission Processing Coordinator assists in making admission decisions. Identifies and processes all documents received in a timely and accurate manner for undergraduate applicants at the Main Campus and Denver Site. Reviews applications for undergraduate program admissions, assists in administering the Probation Pending Approval process and processes files after decisions are provided by the Probation Review Committee. Communicates with Enrollment Counselor and Advisors regarding applicant files and student files, GPA and admission decisions.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Assists in determining admission status for undergraduate applicants based on documents submitted, University policies and criteria. Processes program applications and ensures all documents are stamped, initialed and follows standard document processing procedures.
Performs or verifies GPA calculations for accuracy and program admission.
Assists in administering the Probation Pending Approval process. Ensures applicant’s files are processed.
Enters updated information into SONIS and ensures daily Emails are sent from SONIS and compared to the General Studies spreadsheet for accuracy. Populates spreadsheets with applicant information for admission committee. Maintains active General Study’s spreadsheet of candidates and prepares files to send to the Office of the Registrar for transfer of credit.
Verifies school accreditation for all transcripts and enters data into SONIS Institution record. Reconciles paper applicant files with SONIS data for accuracy.
Ensures information status such as acceptance, alternate, program full and program denied are updated in a timely manner. Assigns program advisors.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Psychology, or related field ( Preferred)
One or more years of higher education admission experience ( Preferred)
