The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Patient Access Director, is responsible for daily operations and personnel supervision in the Patient Access Department. Department tasks include registration, pre-registration, inpatient/direct admits, copay collection, insurance verification and insurance prior authorization via staff that work onsite at the hospital, offsite at satellite hospital locations, and some remote workers. Position requires positive relationship building, professional etiquette modeling, and effective communication with all staff, supporting departments, and vendors. EXPERIENCE:3-5 years experience in revenue cycle required, at least 1-2 years leadership experience - preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS: Excellent customer service andcommunication skills , ability to exercise sound judgement , conflict resolution and handling difficult situations, teamwork, flexibility to changing priorities in a 24/7 staffed department, ability to recognize and adapt to individual differences. OTHER: Skilled in Microsoft office applications. Ability to confidently navigate relevant department hardware/software as well as enterprise health record and applicable billing and payment system modules. EDUCATION: Required: Associates - Related Field, Preferred: Bachelors - Related Field
