Supervisor of Patient Access
SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Patient Access Director, is responsible for daily operations and personnel supervision in the Patient Access Department. Department tasks include registration, pre-registration, inpatient/direct admits, copay collection, insurance verification and insurance prior authorization via staff that work onsite at the hospital, offsite at satellite hospital locations, and some remote workers. Position requires positive relationship building, professional etiquette modeling, and effective communication with all staff, supporting departments, and vendors. EXPERIENCE:3-5 years experience in revenue cycle required, at least 1-2 years leadership experience - preferred.
