Pathologist Fellowship training in Cytopathology, Breast or GI strongly preferred

Highlights of the Position

• Regular performance of pathological analysis, including microscopic analysis of submitted specimens, including frozen sections and FNA interpretation and immediate adequacy assessment.
• Must be board certified or eligible by American Board of Pathology in both clinical and anatomical pathology
• Fellowship training in Cytopathology, Breast or GI strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a sincere interest in working collaboratively with clinicians and administrators in the delivery of integrated care are essential
• Licensure in Pennsylvania and New York will be required
• Weekday and weekend call

A 254-bed tertiary care referral center, Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, Pa., is the recipient of numerous national awards for the high quality care it provides to patients. The hospital is a Regional Level II Trauma Center, accredited by the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation, and is served by Guthrie Air, a regional aeromedical helicopter program.
