Baylor Scott & White Health is looking for a fulltime BC/BE fellowship trained Adolescent Medicine Physician to join our team in Round Rock.  An ideal candidate will ado work collaboratively with other pediatricians and specialists - as well as support services professionals such as nutrition and social work. An interest in gender dysphoria, hormone therapy, and sexual identity/gender orientation is essential. This will be a new department and the selected candidate will have great freedom to grow the department as they envision, so leadership qualities are desirable. A new provider may also be asked to see general pediatrics for a short time until their personal panel grows.

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Round Rock is a 101-bed, full-service hospital with a Level IV Trauma designation. The pediatric department consists of 11 general pediatricians across four clinics throughout the area and an inpatient unit serviced by 3 pediatric hospitalists. The main clinic is in Round Rock across from Round Rock Hospital and is the primary site for our adolescent medicine program. We also have a full set of pediatric sub-specialists who rotate through the department allowing for easy referrals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-              Doctorate Degree in Medicine

-              Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board

-              Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
