The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
The ACNA is responsible for competent care of patients in the Inpatient acute care setting. Removes saline lock and indwelling urinary catheter under the direction of the nurse (excludes patients with acute urinary retention, bladder outlet obstruction, urology consult or has had a urological, gynecological or perineal procedure/surgery performed. Performs bedside glucometry and application of oximetry. The ACNA is a vital member of the IP Acute Care Team and acts as a mentor and preceptor to new staff.
