The Norton Thoracic Institute (NTI) at St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center is accepting applications for a ABTS BC/BE Thoracic Surgeon to join our extraordinary team. The ideal candidates should have broad training, experience, and expertise in all aspects of non-cardiac thoracic surgery, including minimally invasive surgical techniques. Particular interest in Lung Transplantation required. ECMO experience is desirable. New graduates will be considered. The NTI is affiliated with Creighton University School of Medicine, Phoenix Campus, and an academic appointment is available.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified candidates with:
MD or DO degree
Successful completion of ACGME-approved General Surgery Residency and Thoracic Surgery Fellowship (or an I-6 Tract equivalent)
Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure
Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
