Assist the Nursing Education department with tasks set out by various teams, such as research, data capturing and working closely with different team, members,
Learn more about the hospital and healthcare, gain experience, with some opportunities to shadow nurses on the units.
Communicate with nursing leadership and clinical staff to keep the project aligned with the goals for professional development
Coordinate meetings to discuss changes as needed
Work alongside nurse educators to contribute to improved strategies for training and educating new clinical nurses
Assist in ad-hoc projects such as but not limited to data collection and nursing orientation
Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university studying Nursing
Must be in good academic standing
US Citizen or permanent resident
Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
Proficient MS Suite
Have an understanding of basic clinical knowledge/nursing
Is curious and willing to learn
