Overview Atlantic Medical Group, part of Atlantic Heath System is seeking a full-time Surgical Scheduler for AMG Physical Medicine and Rehabk in Cedar Knolls, NJ.Responsibilities Essential Functions:Schedule procedures consistent with the patient's diagnosis and procedure requestRespond to both written and oral correspondence regarding scheduling changes/cancellations in a timely, accurate mannerVerify and enter (if changed) all demographic and insurance information for follow up patientsIdentify procedures that require pre-certification (i. e. MRIs, CT Scans etc)Contact insurance company to obtain authorization to perform testSchedule appointments for tests and visits as requested
