ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
Philadelphia is a city of vibrant neighborhoods bordered by a region of charming towns, with each area owning a distinctive personality. Here you will find storied streets, interesting attractions, buzzed-about restaurants and year-round activities. Visitors stepping outside the city limits find that the Greater Philadelphia region offers everything from public gardens, arboreta and miles of open space to acres of grape vines and specialty shops. RAI affiliated hospitals and imaging centers are located within 45 minutes of center city Philadelphia, allowing plenty of options for urban, suburban or rural living with multiple nearby top-tier universities.
Princeton and the surrounding Mercer County towns are some of the most highly rated places to live and work. Residents here enjoy living in upscale, safe neighborhoods, many with charming tree-lined streets. In the heart of Central New Jersey, this location and transit network put it a quick train ride away from New York City and Philadelphia. There are lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. Many young professionals live here, and most residents own their own homes. One reason why this area is so popular among families with school-aged children is the fact that it has fantastic public schools which boast significantly higher graduation rates than the national average. Apart from outstanding public schools, there are also plenty of private schools, many of which are nationally recognized. Princeton University, an Ivy League university, is yet another mark of excellence in education and is one of the world’s most prominent research universities. Here you can get involved in the local arts and culture scene, enjoy outdoor activities year-round, and enjoy unique shopping, dining, bars and nightlife. Thanks to a diverse, multi-cultural population, this is one of the most satisfying places to live in the country.
