VA Northern California Health Care System is looking for Neurologist trained in EMG/Neuromuscular Medicine to join our team.
Physician will be assigned to the Sacramento VA Medical Center and reports to the Chief of Neurology. The position will encompass the breadth of clinical care, including inpatient consultation and outpatient clinic. Additionally, consultation via tele-health video to inpatient, ED, and outlying clinics. Physician will diagnose, treat, and manage patients with neurological disorders working closely with other Neurologists and Nurse Practitioners with different sub-specialty training and interests. We are seeking fellowship trained candidates with experience in clinical and investigative aspects of EMG/Neuromuscular Medicine. An academic appointment with UC Davis School of Medicine is a distinct possibility, opportunities for teaching and research abound.
