Medical Director – Substance Abuse Prevention and Control
The County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health is seeking candidates with strong leadership and administrative skills to fill this vacancy in the Division of Substance Abuse Prevention and Control (SAPC). Los Angeles County is one of the largest local jurisdictions in the U.S. and requires innovative and targeted approaches to effectively address substance use disorders (SUD) for its residents.SAPC has an annual operating budget of over $400 million and over 350 staff. It is responsible for leading and facilitating the delivery of a full spectrum of prevention, treatment, and recovery services for individuals using and abusing substances throughout the County.
