Position Summary: The Program Manager will work with operational and clinical partners to develop and implement the systems Advanced Heart failure support strategy for the region. The goal of the programs is to deliver top-decile quality performance for durable LVAD and temporary MCS outcomes measures including focus on readmissions, core measures, adherence to best practice guidelines, financial indexes as well quality metrics. The Advanced Heart Failure program will work towards such as program excellence in left ventricular assist device (LVAD) outcomes measures. The Advanced Heart Failure Manager will provide key guidance in the development and maintenance of our Critical Care Team and Committee. The manager facilitates and builds key relationships with physician and operational leaders, designs structure and processes for exceptional outcomes in a manner that improves health and the patient experience in the most cost-effective manner. S/he will have a proven track record of leadership and team success working collaboratively with physicians, and acute, ambulatory, and community services across the continuum of care. This program manager will report to and work closely with the Heart Failure Operational Manager and Pulse COE Director. MCS is defined as Durable LVAD, ECMO, Temporary VAD Support of any kind, with devices currently FDA approved or future approved.
Minimum Requirements: Three years of experience in a Managerial, Supervisory, or Lead capacity required Three years of organizational and team building experience in a business or healthcare setting preferred Experience in operations, strategic planning and data analysis Healthcare experience required
Education/Licenses/Certifications: BSN or Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited school of cardiovascular Certified or certification eligible as per guidelines of the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion
